Project Summary: Route N2 in the planning sector of road transport, in the South region. This is one of the three main axes: Highway 1A in the east, Highway N1 in the west and N2 in the middle. The vertical axis connects Highway 22 to Highway 30 through the Dong Thap Muoi area. Route N2 is also a part of Ho Chi Minh road extending from Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) to Vam Ray (Kien Giang) about 280 km long and ends in Ca Mau. With the total length of 440km, the route goes through eight provinces: Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Long An, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang and Ca Mau. With this new route, the transport from the eastern provinces, the Central Highland on the way to HCM City along Highway 1A, will pass Highway 22 to turn into Route N2 to the western provinces. This route contributes to reducing traffic density on the highway.
